Thanksgiving and Christmas

This year for Thanksgiving we went up to Tasha's family cabin in Island Park, ID. It was great fun as always. We went up with Tasha's aunt & uncle Steve and DeeAnne Jabbs. As part of the Thanksgiving fun we went paintballing among the trees and snow. Tyler, Tasha's dad Kevin, Steve, and I went out and warred it out.

Unfortunately there wasn't enough snow to go snowmobiling, but we had a great time playing games and getting to know Steve and DeeAnne. The food was wonderful and we truly saw how blessed we are, not only in terms of the comforts we enjoy, but also what a great family we have. Tasha and I have worked hard to provide for our family in terms of physical, spiritual, and temporal welfare. Emma has been a joy to our family and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.

Christmas was so much fun! Emma really enjoyed the food (which she can now eat most foods) and was introduced to a lot of fun family traditions. It was a great 1st Christmas for her and we enjoyed this season of giving more than we ever have in the past.

Tasha got me a great rocker glider chair so I can rock my sweet Emma more. She also got me Ocean's 13, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Office: Season 2. I got her a lot of kitchenware, The History of Joseph Smith: by his Mother, Emma and Lucy (written by Gracia Jones, a descendant of Joseph), just to mention a few gifts we gave and received. Emma loves her new toys and it's a lot of fun to watch her explore more and discover how to work them.

To the right is the first pair of Christmas pajamas for Emma and she looks so cute in them! Below is the picture of Tasha and I with her family in our new Christmas pajamas. Notice mine and dad's are much to long for us and our short legs, but we are grateful nonetheless.
